John Jester

Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, has announced the appointment of Michelle Graff as Senior Vice President (SVP), Global Partners and Channel, reinforcing its commitment to expanding its worldwide partner ecosystem and helping customers build trusted, resilient data foundations for AI adoption.

In her new role, Graff will lead Veeam’s global partner strategy across channels, service providers, distributors, resellers, and strategic alliances. She will be responsible for strengthening collaboration across Veeam’s network of more than 35,000 partners worldwide, driving ecosystem growth and accelerating customer success in areas such as data resilience, cybersecurity, and AI readiness.

Graff brings over 25 years of experience in building and scaling global partner, channel, and alliance organizations across the cloud, cybersecurity, and data protection sectors. Prior to joining Veeam, she served as Senior Vice President, Global Partners & Channel Sales at Commvault, where she led partner strategy and managed relationships with hyperscalers, managed service providers, resellers, and alliance partners.

“Partners are deeply rooted in the DNA of Veeam. With more than 35,000 partners worldwide, Michelle’s leadership will help us simplify engagement, increase co-sell velocity, and unlock new growth opportunities across our global partner ecosystem.” — John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer, Veeam Software

Her appointment comes at a time when organizations are increasingly focused on ensuring data used for artificial intelligence is secure, compliant, recoverable, and trusted. According to Veeam, data management challenges continue to slow AI initiatives, creating a significant opportunity for partners to help customers establish stronger data resilience and governance frameworks.

As part of her new mandate, Graff will focus on simplifying partner engagement, improving route-to-market consistency, and creating new opportunities for partners to expand their services and solutions portfolios. She will also help partners support customers in adopting AI securely and at scale by ensuring data remains protected across the entire lifecycle.

“The convergence of AI, cybersecurity, and data resilience is one of the most significant shifts of our generation,” said Graff. “With the market’s leading partner ecosystem, Veeam is uniquely positioned to help customers keep data secure, governed, compliant, and recoverable so they can accelerate safe AI adoption and achieve measurable business outcomes.”

Prior to Commvault, Graff also held key leadership positions at Securiti AI, HashiCorp, Pure Storage, and Palo Alto Networks, where she played a pivotal role in driving partner-led growth and ecosystem expansion.

The appointment underscores Veeam’s continued investment in its global partner community as organizations increasingly prioritize data trust, cyber resilience, and AI-driven innovation.
