Kissflow was named twice as a Sample Vendor for Citizen Developers technology in the Gartner Hype Cycle

Kissflow

Recognized in the Hype Cycle for the Future of Work, 2024,  Hype Cycle for Workforce Transformation, 2024, and Hype Cycle for Digital Workplace Applications, 2024 Reports

Kissflow has been identified as a Sample Vendor for Citizen Developers technology in three Gartner Hype Cycle, 2024 reports.

  1. Hype Cycle for the Future of Work, 2024
  2. Hype Cycle for Workforce Transformation, 2024
  3. Hype Cycle for Digital Workplace Applications, 2024

Gartner Hype Cycles provide a graphic representation of the maturity and adoption of technologies and applications, and how they are potentially relevant to solving real business problems and exploiting new opportunities.

Gartner defines, “Citizen developers are employees reporting outside the IT organization who create or extend technology capabilities. They use tools sanctioned by corporate IT or the business units — not shadow IT. A citizen developer is a subsegment of business technologists. However, it is not a title, dedicated role or professional developer in the business unit, but rather a business employee archetype.”

“We are proud to be recognized as a Sample Vendor for Citizen Developers technology for a second consecutive year in both Hype Cycle for Workforce Transformation and Hype Cycle for Digital Workplace Applications reports,” said Dinesh Varadharajan, CPO of Kissflow

With its simple no-code design, patented rules engine, and comprehensive governance module, the Kissflow platform fulfills all the requirements to enable true citizen development.

He adds, “We believe this recognition reiterates our commitment to democratizing application development for business users while enabling IT to govern citizen development.”
