Cohesity Strengthens Partner-Led Growth Strategy with New Regional Channel Leadership Appointment

Company appoints Hassan Aoun as Senior Channel Director for the International Emerging Region to accelerate partner growth and expand cybersecurity ecosystem

Cohesity has announced the appointment of Hassan Aoun as Senior Channel Director, International Emerging Region, reinforcing the company’s commitment to expanding its partner-led growth strategy across key emerging markets.

In his new role, Aoun will be responsible for driving the transformation of Cohesity’s channel business across the region, focusing on accelerating customer acquisition through partners, expanding the company’s cybersecurity ecosystem, developing high-performing channel teams, and creating a scalable framework for long-term growth.

The appointment comes as organizations across emerging markets continue to strengthen cyber resilience strategies amid rising cyber threats and growing demand for data protection across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. As enterprises increasingly rely on trusted technology partners to modernize data security, accelerate recovery capabilities, and securely adopt AI-driven technologies, Cohesity is further investing in its channel-first approach.

Aoun joins Cohesity with more than 23 years of experience in channel development, ecosystem expansion, and commercial leadership. Prior to joining the company, he spent nearly a decade at Autodesk, where he held a series of leadership positions including Regional Channel Manager, Head of Africa Territory Sales, and Global Ecosystem Expansion Lead. He has also held senior channel and commercial leadership roles at Sandvine, Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems, and Microsoft.
