Salesforce and Anthropic have announced Claudeforce, an expanded strategic partnership that combines Anthropic’s Claude AI with Salesforce’s CRM platform, enabling enterprises to securely access business data, workflows, and governance controls directly within AI-driven experiences.
The partnership launches with Salesforce in Claude, a new integration that allows sales teams to interact with Salesforce data and processes from within Claude. The solution includes 37 prebuilt sales skills designed to help users analyze pipeline health, prepare for customer meetings, review deals, and automate sales-related workflows using natural-language interactions.
Built on Salesforce’s AIforce architecture, the integration gives Claude access to live business context, including customer information, revenue data, workflows, and enterprise knowledge, while maintaining existing security, permissions, and governance controls. Instead of relying on static exports or disconnected datasets, users can access real-time information and take action directly through Claude.
“We’re bringing together the world’s #1 AI and #1 CRM. By combining Claude’s reasoning with Salesforce’s trusted data, workflows, and governance, we’re creating a new generation of enterprise AI that can think, reason, and act,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO, Salesforce.
“We’re bringing together the world’s #1 AI and #1 CRM. By fusing Claude’s extraordinary reasoning with the trusted data, workflows, and governance every enterprise runs on, we’re delivering a dynamic interface that thinks, reasons, and acts,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO, Salesforce.
The partnership is also expanding Claude’s role within the Salesforce ecosystem. Claude is now available as a reasoning model within Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI platform, supporting AI-powered workflows, decision-making, and task automation. Through Amazon Bedrock, organizations in regulated industries can deploy Claude within Salesforce’s trust boundary while maintaining security and compliance requirements.
A key component of the collaboration is Slack, where Claude will serve as the default AI model across multiple experiences. Salesforce and Anthropic aim to enable employees to collaborate with AI directly within Slack, allowing teams to reason through business decisions and execute governed actions in Salesforce without leaving their workspace.
“Through this partnership, companies can point Claude at the customer information and business context they’ve been building in Salesforce for decades and use it to actually run and grow their businesses,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-Founder, Anthropic.
The companies are also adopting each other’s technologies internally. Anthropic has selected Salesforce as its preferred CRM platform, while Salesforce is expanding its use of Claude across Slack, Agentforce, development environments, and employee productivity tools.
Salesforce in Claude is currently available to select pilot customers, with an open beta expected in September 2026. Additional industry-specific skills and integrations are scheduled to roll out later this year.
With Claudeforce, Salesforce and Anthropic are positioning enterprise AI beyond simple assistants, aiming to create AI systems that can securely reason over enterprise data and execute business actions within governed workflows.
