Platform expansion, international growth and AI-agent security strengthen the company’s digital workforce protection strategy

KnowBe4 has reported strong business momentum in 2026, with AI-related annual recurring revenue (ARR) growing more than 35% over the past year. The growth has been driven by its Artificial Intelligence Defense Agents (AIDA), the launch of Security Awareness Training Advanced and increasing demand for email and collaboration security solutions.

The company, which serves more than 70,000 organizations worldwide, is expanding beyond traditional security awareness training to address emerging risks associated with AI adoption and evolving cyber threats.

Recent product launches include real-time security coaching, simulated voice-phishing capabilities and protection for Microsoft Teams. These initiatives aim to help organizations identify risky employee behaviour and counter social engineering attacks across multiple communication channels.

“As organizations deploy AI agents alongside employees, they need security strategies that address both,” said Bryan Palma, CEO of KnowBe4.

KnowBe4 is also extending its security capabilities to autonomous AI agents. Its Agent Risk Manager provides visibility into agent behaviour, helping enterprises monitor activity and establish appropriate governance. Support for Anthropic’s Claude builds on existing capabilities for Microsoft Copilot.

The company’s latest benchmarking research analyzed 42 million simulated phishing tests across 14.8 million users at 64,000 organizations. It found that phishing attacks increased 17.1% in the second half of 2025, while organizations using ongoing security awareness training reduced average phishing susceptibility from 33.2% to 4.2% after one year.

International markets also recorded double-digit ARR growth, with EMEA and Asia-Pacific and Japan emerging as key growth regions.

KnowBe4 has strengthened its leadership team with appointments across finance, customer operations, human resources, growth and channel management. The developments reflect its ambition to scale globally as enterprises increasingly seek integrated security strategies covering employees, collaboration platforms and AI agents.
