Everpure has introduced a new data-centric architecture designed to help enterprises accelerate AI adoption by transforming fragmented data into trusted, AI-ready intelligence. At the heart of the announcement is Everpure Data Intelligence, formerly known as 1touch.io, alongside significant enhancements to the company’s Enterprise Data Cloud (EDC) platform.
The launch reflects a growing shift from traditional application-centric IT environments—where data remains trapped in isolated business applications—to a data-primacy model that places governed, contextualized data at the center of enterprise operations.
“Enterprises that do not shift from app-centricity to data primacy will fall behind. Data is now the primary asset for AI-driven businesses.”
— Charles Giancarlo, Chairman & CEO, Everpure
According to Everpure, this approach enables organizations to embed governance, business context and security directly into the data layer, allowing AI applications and intelligent agents to access trusted information without relying on fragmented data repositories.
“AI completely upends the traditional IT hierarchy,” said Charles Giancarlo, Chairman and CEO of Everpure. “Enterprises that do not shift from app-centricity to data primacy will fall behind. Embedding context, semantics and governance directly into data helps eliminate fragmentation and creates a trusted foundation for enterprise AI.”
Everpure Data Intelligence is designed to discover, classify and contextualize enterprise data across on-premises infrastructure, public cloud environments, SaaS applications and third-party storage platforms. The solution creates semantic relationships and governance policies directly at the source, enabling AI systems to access relevant information while reducing token costs and improving response accuracy.
The platform delivers three key capabilities:
- Universal Discovery, providing visibility across structured and unstructured enterprise data regardless of storage location.
- Automated Governance, which identifies sensitive information such as personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI), while tracking data lineage for compliance.
- AI-Ready Context, which maps business meaning to enterprise data through a semantic knowledge graph, allowing AI agents to understand and securely use information across the organization.
Industry analysts believe data infrastructure remains one of the biggest barriers to enterprise AI adoption.
Matt Kimball, Vice President and Principal Analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, said organizations are investing heavily in AI models and computing power, but disconnected data continues to limit business outcomes. He noted that placing data at the center of enterprise strategy can significantly reduce operational costs while accelerating AI deployments.
Beyond Data Intelligence, Everpure also announced several enhancements to its Enterprise Data Cloud architecture.
The company introduced updates to its Unified Data Plane, including Evergreen//One Overdrive, scheduled for availability in Q3 2026. The capability enables on-premises storage systems to temporarily scale performance by up to 25% during workload spikes without requiring permanent infrastructure upgrades.
Everpure also expanded its Intelligent Control Plane, adding AI-driven operational capabilities such as workload mobility, natural language-based Copilot Workflow Execution, enhanced cyber anomaly detection, and Fusion Compliance with agentic AI-powered root-cause analysis.
To help enterprises transition toward a data-centric operating model, the company unveiled the EDC Success Blueprint, a structured framework that guides organizations through infrastructure assessment, governance implementation and automation across ten operational pillars.
According to Everpure, combining data intelligence with intelligent infrastructure creates a unified data fabric where governance, AI workflows and storage operations work together, enabling enterprises to scale AI initiatives securely while improving operational efficiency.
With organizations increasingly prioritizing AI-led transformation, Everpure believes that shifting from application-centric architectures to data-first infrastructure will become essential for unlocking the full value of enterprise AI.
