The new platform coordinates AI agents across hybrid IT environments, combining automation with human oversight, risk controls and auditability.
SolarWinds has launched Avior, a standalone agentic AI platform designed to help enterprises move beyond reactive IT management towards proactive, outcome-driven operations. The platform coordinates AI agents across complex hybrid IT environments while retaining human oversight over high-risk decisions.
Avior supports tasks including alert correlation, compliance auditing, configuration drift remediation, backup management, capacity planning and cost optimisation. Its approach combines AI-driven analysis with deterministic execution, risk-based autonomy, approval workflows, audit trails and rollback capabilities.
“When AI exists in mission critical IT work, enterprises need this technology to graduate from virtual assistant to trusted teammate,” said Krishna Sai, CTO, SolarWinds. He added that Avior combines probabilistic AI models with deterministic execution to help operators retain control of critical decisions.
“Avior moves AI from recommendations to governed, outcome-driven IT operations.”
The platform draws on SolarWinds’ 25 years of IT operational context, including telemetry, topology, configuration history and alerting data. It also supports third-party integrations through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling coordination across different tools and systems.
“Organizations need to move proactively, reduce operational risk, and build resilience into the way IT work gets done,” said Cullen Childress, Interim CEO and Chief Product Officer, SolarWinds. He said Avior is designed to help IT teams shift from managing alerts to orchestrating measurable outcomes.
The launch also targets channel partners in the Middle East, where regulated organisations operate complex, compliance-heavy infrastructure.
“Avior’s auditable, risk-gated approach gives them a trusted way to introduce agentic AI into those estates,” said Abdul Rehman Tariq Butt, Regional Director – Middle East, SolarWinds.
Available from October 14, 2026, Avior offers guided onboarding and self-hosted or SaaS deployment options, without requiring migration from existing systems.
