Delinea and Cyera Unite Identity and Data Security to Prioritize High-Risk Threats in the AI Era

New integration delivers data-aware identity security by linking privileged access with sensitive data exposure intelligence.

Delinea has announced a new integration with Cyera that brings together privileged identity security and data security posture management, enabling organizations to better identify, prioritize, and remediate the most critical access risks across human, machine, and AI identities.

As enterprises accelerate AI adoption and machine identities proliferate, security teams are increasingly challenged to understand which privileged accounts can access sensitive data and how that access contributes to overall cyber risk. The Delinea-Cyera integration addresses this challenge by correlating identity privileges with data exposure intelligence in a unified risk view.

The integration combines Delinea’s identity security platform with Cyera’s Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities. Cyera continuously discovers, classifies, and monitors sensitive data across cloud and on-premises environments, while Delinea maps identities to the data they can access. This enables organizations to automatically elevate risk scores for accounts with access to highly sensitive information and prioritize remediation efforts accordingly.

“Organizations cannot afford to manage access risk in one tool and data risk in another and hope someone connects the dots. Security teams need better context to prioritize risk and govern access with confidence.”
— Chris Kelly, President, Delinea

Through the combined solution, security teams can focus on the exposures that matter most, reduce alert fatigue by prioritizing accounts linked to critical assets, and gain a consolidated view of identity and data risk across the enterprise. The approach supports least-privilege enforcement, access reviews, and risk-based governance initiatives designed to reduce the likelihood of data breaches.

The announcement comes at a time when organizations are increasingly seeking unified security strategies that bridge identity governance, privileged access management, and data protection as AI-driven environments create new attack surfaces and risk scenarios.

By integrating identity context with data sensitivity and exposure insights, Delinea and Cyera aim to help enterprises strengthen security operations, improve risk prioritization, and enhance visibility into the relationships between identities, privileges, and critical business data.
