Veteran tech leader to steer regional strategy as demand surges for Industrial AI and composable ERP

Global enterprise software leader IFS has appointed Rahul Misra as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA), signaling a bold push to scale operations across the region’s most dynamic markets—from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to emerging economies across Africa.

“IFS is uniquely positioned to deliver lasting value across MEA’s fast-transforming digital economy.” – Rahul Misra, SVP & MD, IFS MEA

A seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of experience, Misra takes charge at a time when IFS is experiencing rapid momentum, having crossed €1 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and seeing strong adoption of its IFS.ai platform. He previously spent 18 years at Oracle, most recently leading Cloud Applications across the Gulf and South Africa with a track record of double-digit growth.

“The Middle East and Africa is a region full of promise, where national visions and digital infrastructure initiatives are unlocking massive opportunities,” said Rahul Misra. “With IFS’s global leadership in asset and service management, we are uniquely positioned to create lasting value for customers and partners in this high-growth market.”

Under Misra’s leadership, IFS will focus on expanding regional presence, strengthening partner ecosystems, and supporting digital transformation across key industries such as oil & gas, utilities, construction, aerospace, and defense.

“Rahul’s deep regional insight and proven ability to lead transformation make him the ideal choice to drive our next phase of growth,” added Hannes Liebe, President, APJMEA at IFS. “MEA is one of our most strategic markets globally, and we are doubling down on our commitment here.”

Misra succeeds Mehmood Khan, who now takes on a broader role as Vice President, Install Base and Success for APJMEA, after playing a key role in shaping IFS’s strong reputation as a trusted transformation partner in the region.
