Trend Micro’s enterprise cybersecurity business debuts new identity as UAE accelerates AI adoption and digital transformation

TrendAI™, the enterprise AI security business of , has officially launched in the UAE, marking a significant milestone in the region’s rapidly evolving artificial intelligence landscape. The launch was celebrated with a brand reveal on Ain Dubai and follows Trend Micro’s global transition of its enterprise cybersecurity business to the TrendAI™ identity earlier this year.

The launch comes as the UAE continues to position itself as a global leader in artificial intelligence. With substantial investments in AI innovation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity initiatives, the country is creating an environment where enterprises are increasingly adopting AI-driven technologies to enhance productivity, automation, and business growth.

“As businesses accelerate AI adoption to drive growth and competitiveness, security and governance must evolve at the same pace.”

— Salah Suleiman, Managing Director, South Gulf, TrendAI™

However, the rapid adoption of AI is also introducing new security and governance challenges. According to TrendAI’s latest global study of 3,700 business and IT decision-makers, 67% of organizations admitted feeling pressure to approve AI deployments despite security concerns, while 57% said AI technologies are advancing faster than their ability to secure them.

The research also highlights growing concerns around agentic AI, where autonomous AI systems can access data, make decisions, and perform tasks with minimal human intervention. More than 40% of respondents identified AI agents accessing sensitive information as a major emerging risk, while nearly one-third reported lacking sufficient visibility and auditability into these systems.

“Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how organizations innovate and operate across the UAE,” said Salah Suleiman, Managing Director, South Gulf, TrendAI™. “TrendAI™ combines advanced cybersecurity expertise with AI-driven capabilities to help enterprises innovate confidently while maintaining visibility and control over emerging AI risks.”

As part of its AI security strategy, TrendAI™ is expanding collaborations with leading AI innovators, including participation in Anthropic’s Project Glasswing initiative. The company is also working with Anthropic to evaluate advanced AI models for identifying software vulnerabilities, improving threat prioritization, and accelerating remediation efforts.

The company is further strengthening its cybersecurity ecosystem through partnerships with cyber risk advisory firm S-RM and autonomous security testing specialist HackerVerse. These initiatives aim to provide enterprises with enhanced threat detection, adversarial testing, and post-breach resilience capabilities.

Built around the TrendAI Vision One™ platform, TrendAI’s unified cybersecurity approach is designed to help organizations secure AI systems, cloud environments, endpoints, networks, and data while maintaining governance across the entire AI lifecycle. As AI adoption accelerates across the Middle East, TrendAI aims to help enterprises embrace innovation while staying protected against evolving cyber threats.
