Tenable has announced the launch of the Tenable One Open Connector, a new capability designed to help organizations unify security data and make faster, AI-driven cyber risk decisions. The update allows enterprises to integrate third-party, internal, and custom data sources directly into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform.
The launch addresses a critical challenge in modern cybersecurity environments fragmented visibility caused by disconnected tools and limited integration capabilities. Traditional security platforms often restrict data ingestion, leaving organizations with incomplete risk context. Tenable’s Open Connector removes these limitations by enabling customers to ingest data from virtually any source, including AI-powered security tools, cloud environments, identity systems, code security platforms, and threat intelligence feeds.
With more than 300 pre-built integrations already supported, the addition of Open Connector further expands Tenable One’s ecosystem, allowing organizations to consolidate exposure data into a single, unified platform. This comprehensive visibility empowers security teams to prioritize risks more effectively and accelerate remediation efforts across the entire attack surface.
“Closed platforms dictate what data customers can use. We believe customers should decide… Tenable Open Connector brings more types of security and business context into the exposure graph to deliver sharper prioritization and faster remediation,” said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer, Tenable.
The Open Connector also plays a key role in enhancing Tenable’s AI capabilities. By feeding richer and more diverse data into Tenable Hexa AI the company’s agentic AI engine organizations can generate more accurate insights, automate decision-making, and improve overall security outcomes. As enterprises increasingly deploy AI-driven tools that generate large volumes of security findings, the ability to centralize and contextualize this data becomes essential for effective risk management.
In addition to the Open Connector, Tenable introduced the Open Partner Ecosystem Network (OPEN), reinforcing its commitment to an open-first security approach. The initiative aims to unify disparate security tools and foster collaboration across the cybersecurity ecosystem, enabling organizations to build more proactive and adaptive defense strategies.
Key capabilities of the Open Connector include unified data ingestion, automated synchronization to keep exposure data current, and customizable data mapping to align with specific workflows. These features help organizations close visibility gaps, convert fragmented data into actionable intelligence, and maintain continuous awareness of evolving risks.
As cyber threats grow more sophisticated and attack surfaces expand, organizations are seeking solutions that provide greater flexibility and control over their security data. Tenable’s latest innovation positions the company as a leader in open, AI-driven exposure management, enabling enterprises to move from reactive security practices to proactive, data-driven risk reduction.
With approximately 44,000 customers worldwide, Tenable continues to expand its platform to meet the demands of modern cybersecurity, helping organizations protect their digital assets, reduce business risk, and strengthen resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
