Open-source platform connects AI agents with humans across Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord and other collaboration tools without vendor lock-in
SandboxAQ has announced Switch, an open-source platform designed to help enterprises bring AI agents directly into the collaboration environments their teams already use.
Switch enables humans and AI agents to work together in shared rooms across platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord, allowing teams to retain common context, resources and conversation history. The platform is model- and vendor-agnostic, enabling organisations to connect agents built using frameworks including Claude Code, Google ADK, LangChain and OpenAI.

Built around MCP, APIs and adapters, Switch aims to reduce the integration and context-sharing challenges that can limit enterprise AI-agent adoption. A single agent can operate across multiple rooms, with each workspace maintaining its own participants, rules and context.
SandboxAQ said Switch can be deployed within minutes and is available at no cost. It is released under the Apache 2.0 license with the Commons Clause, giving developers and enterprises access to the software without platform lock-in.
The platform is part of Flint AI, SandboxAQ’s portfolio of AI-agent products. Switch is available through GitHub, with documentation and tutorials provided for developers to connect existing agents and begin collaborative workflows.
The company said Switch is already being used internally across engineering, security, marketing and design teams to coordinate AI agents and human employees during development and launch activities.
