Pure Storage Unveils FlashBlade//EXA for AI and High-Performance Computing

Pure Storage

New platform promises unmatched performance and scalability for next-gen AI workloads

Pure Storage has introduced FlashBlade//EXA, a high-performance data storage platform designed to meet the demanding needs of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC). With a focus on breaking traditional metadata bottlenecks, FlashBlade//EXA provides industry-leading read speeds of over 10 terabytes per second in a single namespace, ensuring seamless scalability and efficiency for AI-driven workloads.

“Storage is now accelerating the pace of large-scale HPC and AI evolution.”

– Rob Lee, CTO, Pure Storage

The new platform offers a disaggregated, massively parallel architecture, allowing independent scaling of data and metadata. This enables enterprises to optimize GPU utilization, accelerate AI model training, and improve performance without the complexity of legacy storage solutions.

“FlashBlade//EXA delivers a massively parallel architecture that enables independent scaling of data and metadata to provide customers with unmatched performance, scalability, and adaptability for some of the largest, most demanding data environments in the world,” said Rob Lee, Chief Technology Officer at Pure Storage.
