Advanced document automation enhances fan engagement and slashes costs at iconic Dubai venue

Jebel Ali Racecourse has successfully implemented an AI-powered intelligent document processing (IDP) solution in partnership with Kodak Alaris and TechBee, transforming its popular “Pick & Win” program into a fully digital, real-time experience.

The initiative has earned the racecourse the 2024 Innovative Solution Champion title from Kodak Alaris. The solution combines KODAK S3100 Scanners with the cloud-enabled KODAK Info Input Solution platform, equipped with a custom AI engine that accurately processes highly variable handwritten forms.

The system processes more than 20,000 forms—over one million data points—within a strict two-hour window during live events, allowing the racecourse to select winners and distribute prizes in real time.

“The Kodak Alaris team didn’t just provide a service—they became true partners.”

The deployment has resulted in:

  • 97% form processing accuracy
  • 80% reduction in operational costs
  • 90% decrease in infrastructure overheads

Mohamed Ahmed, General Manager of Jebel Ali Racecourse, praised the collaboration: “When we started our digital transformation for the Pick & Win games, we needed a solution that could enhance the visitor experience while introducing something unique. The Kodak Alaris team didn’t just provide a service—they became true partners.”

Elias Mouchantaf, General Manager of Kodak Alaris Dubai, added: “This project showcases how AI-led automation can enhance real-time engagement and streamline operations at scale.”

The success of the project sets a new benchmark for digital transformation in entertainment and sporting venues across the Middle East.
