Infoblox has entered the rapidly growing External Attack Surface Management (EASM) market with a new DNS-native solution designed to help organizations proactively identify and mitigate internet-facing cyber risks. Alongside the launch, the company also introduced Supply Chain Intelligence, extending visibility beyond enterprise assets to include critical third-party vendors.
The new offerings strengthen the Infoblox Exposure Management portfolio at a time when AI-powered cyberattacks are dramatically shortening the window between vulnerability discovery and exploitation. As enterprises expand across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, security teams face increasing challenges in identifying exposed assets and third-party risks before attackers exploit them.
Infoblox’s External Attack Surface Management capability enables organizations to automatically discover internet-facing assets without requiring software installation, credentialed access or active network scanning. The platform prioritizes risks based on exploitability and business impact while leveraging the company’s DNS expertise to uncover hidden exposures often overlooked by conventional security tools.

During an early access programme involving nearly 40 organizations, the solution detected dangling CNAME records in 31 environments. These orphaned DNS records can allow attackers to hijack legitimate domains, host phishing websites, steal credentials and distribute spoofed emails, highlighting the importance of continuous external visibility.
Complementing the launch, Supply Chain Intelligence enables organizations to monitor the external security posture of critical vendors by tracking internet-facing exposures, leaked credentials, dark web activity and active threat campaigns. The capability helps security teams incorporate third-party cyber risks into existing security operations and exposure management strategies.
According to IDC, AI is fundamentally reshaping cyber risk by enabling attackers to automate reconnaissance and rapidly weaponize vulnerabilities. This has increased the need for continuous external visibility and context-driven prioritization of cyber exposures.
