Government recognition highlights HID’s role in trusted digital identity as Saudi Arabia accelerates its Vision 2030 transformation
HID has been recognised as the “Saudi Arabia IoT Leader in Digital ID Verification” by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), and the Digital Government Authority (DGA) during LEAP 2026.
The recognition, presented under the Kingdom’s IoT Adoption Initiative, reflects HID’s contribution to digital identity verification and its broader role in enabling trusted digital experiences across sectors aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions.
The award comes as digital identity becomes increasingly important to the Kingdom’s transformation agenda. As government services, financial platforms, healthcare, transportation and other critical services move further online, organisations face the challenge of balancing frictionless access with stronger identity assurance and security.

Saudi authorities say the IoT Adoption Initiative has involved more than 300 public and private-sector organisations, supported the deployment of more than 40 million connected devices and contributed approximately SAR17 billion to the country’s GDP.
