Cohesity has unveiled Cohesity Maestro, introducing a first-of-its-kind headless data security architecture that integrates data protection, cyber resilience, and AI-powered intelligence directly into enterprise AI workflows.
Designed for the era of agentic AI, Maestro extends the Cohesity Data Cloud including real-time telemetry, autonomous agents, and its AI-driven search engine Cohesity Gaia into the tools enterprises already use, such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Google Gemini. Built on the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard, the solution eliminates the need for separate consoles or proprietary integrations.

The platform introduces a headless operating model, where data protection and recovery workflows can be executed programmatically through AI agents without requiring a dedicated interface. This enables IT and security teams to monitor environments, investigate incidents, and initiate recovery actions directly from their existing AI-driven workflows.
Key capabilities include cyber resilience orchestration, real-time telemetry integration, and AI-powered threat intelligence. The platform’s “threat-to-action” flow allows users to query environment changes, identify risks, and trigger responses such as restores or threat hunting without switching tools.
Cohesity Maestro also leverages AI agents such as Cohesity Copilot for conversational operations and RecoveryAgent for orchestrating recovery processes, paving the way for autonomous, self-healing IT environments.
By embedding security into AI-native workflows, Cohesity is aligning with a broader industry shift toward autonomous resilience, where systems can detect, decide, and act in real time.
With initial capabilities already available and broader rollout expected later this year, Cohesity Maestro positions the company at the forefront of integrating data security with enterprise AI ecosystems enabling organizations to scale innovation while maintaining control, compliance, and resilience.
