Airbus, GINA Software Partner to Strengthen Emergency Response Networks in Middle East

Airbus Defence

Airbus Defence and Space has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GINA Software to integrate advanced emergency response modules into its Agnet and TETRA communication ecosystems, targeting public safety and critical infrastructure sectors across the Middle East.

The collaboration aims to support the region’s growing focus on smart city development and digital emergency response systems by delivering hybrid communication and situational awareness solutions for first responders and security agencies.

“The agreement with GINA Software allows us to offer additional tactical modules within our Agnet and TETRA ecosystems.” — Thibaut Faivre, Airbus Defence and Space

Under the partnership, GINA Software’s tactical mapping and coordination technologies will be integrated into Airbus communication platforms to improve operational visibility and streamline field coordination during emergencies and large-scale incidents.

A major focus of the collaboration is the expansion of the Agnet ecosystem through three key technologies. The Smart CAD (IMS) module is designed to consolidate field data, mapping, and reporting into a unified interface to support operational decision-making. The Tactical AVL tool will enable dispatchers to track assets and personnel in real time for more efficient deployment, while the Unified Command Interface is intended to improve coordination among multiple agencies and communication networks.

“Our mission has always been to save lives through technology.” — Zbynek Poulicek, CEO, GINA Software

Thibaut Faivre, Head of MEAI Sales & Programme Delivery for Public Safety and Security at Airbus Defence and Space, said the partnership strengthens Airbus’ ability to deliver hybrid tactical communication solutions tailored to frontline operational requirements in the region.

Zbynek Poulicek, CEO of GINA Software, said the partnership with Airbus expands the reach of the company’s mapping and incident management expertise in the Middle East. He noted that integrating GINA’s tracking and coordination tools into the Agnet ecosystem would provide first responders with a unified digital platform capable of transforming complex operational data into actionable intelligence.

The agreement further reinforces Airbus’ presence in the Middle Eastern public safety market, where governments and security agencies are increasingly investing in scalable and digitally connected emergency communication infrastructure.
