Exabeam Brings Modernised LogRhythm SIEM to Iraq, Enabling On-Premises AI Security Operations

The platform helps organisations monitor enterprise use of ChatGPT, Gemini and GitHub Copilot while using locally hosted AI models to investigate threats without moving sensitive security data outside their environments.

Exabeam has introduced its modernised LogRhythm Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform in Iraq, bringing AI-assisted threat detection and investigation capabilities to organisations that need greater control over sensitive security data.

Launched at customer and partner events in Baghdad, the platform is designed to help security teams monitor enterprise use of generative AI tools, including ChatGPT, Google Gemini and GitHub Copilot, while conducting investigations through locally hosted AI models. The on-premises deployment addresses data sovereignty and compliance concerns, particularly in regulated sectors and critical infrastructure.

A key component is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects local generative AI models with SIEM data, enabling on-premises queries, investigations and alert triage. Built-in data collectors for popular enterprise AI applications provide telemetry for logging and risk monitoring, helping analysts identify potential misuse, insider threats and suspicious activity.

“Securing Iraq’s digital transformation means understanding how employees and AI agents use trusted access and identifying when that access is misused.”

“We’re proud to support Iraqi organizations as they expand their digital services and manage the security risks that come with wider access to mission-critical data,” said Mazen Adnan Dohaji, Senior Vice President and General Manager, IMETA, at Exabeam. He said the platform allows security teams to investigate insider risks using local AI models without transferring sensitive security data outside their environments.

The launch comes as Iraq expands digital payments, online public services and connected energy infrastructure, creating a broader and more complex security landscape for government, financial services, telecommunications and energy organisations.

Omar Al-Zuhairi, Regional Manager, Iraq and Levant, at Exabeam, said local AI models can help analysts gather context and prioritise alerts while retaining human oversight in security decisions. “The Agentic SOC puts human judgment and oversight at the center of AI-assisted workflows,” he said.

Exabeam introduced the platform during its “Securing Iraq’s Digital Future” events in Baghdad, which included demonstrations of LogRhythm SIEM’s AI capabilities, discussions on sector-specific security operations centres (SOCs), and sessions on partner programmes and business opportunities.

The Iraq launch also reflects Exabeam’s broader strategy of making its Agentic SOC approach available across different infrastructure environments. Organisations can choose its cloud-native New-Scale Security Operations Platform or on-premises LogRhythm SIEM, depending on their operational and data requirements.

As enterprise adoption of AI accelerates, monitoring how employees and autonomous systems interact with sensitive information is becoming an important part of security operations. Exabeam’s Iraq offering aims to combine AI-assisted investigations with local data control, while keeping analysts responsible for decisions that affect critical services.
