New Critical Infrastructure Protection Lab to Help Organizations Strengthen IT and OT Security Against Real-World Cyber Threats
OPSWAT, a global leader in critical infrastructure protection (CIP) cybersecurity solutions, has announced the opening of its first office and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Lab in India, marking a significant expansion of its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies.
Located in Bengaluru, India’s leading technology hub, the new facility will provide customers and partners with access to local engineering expertise, sales support, cybersecurity demonstrations, executive briefings, and hands-on workshops. The office will also serve as a collaboration center for channel partners and system integrators across the region.

A key highlight of the new facility is OPSWAT’s first India-based CIP Lab, designed to simulate real-world cyberattack scenarios across both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Organizations visiting the lab will be able to test their cyber defenses against evolving threat scenarios and gain practical insights into protecting critical infrastructure systems.
The expansion comes as industries across India increasingly prioritize cybersecurity amid rising threats targeting sectors such as information technology, manufacturing, biotechnology, aerospace, utilities, and other critical infrastructure segments. Bengaluru’s position as a major technology and innovation hub makes it a strategic location for OPSWAT’s regional operations.
The company said the new lab will help enterprises better understand cyber risks, evaluate security strategies, and strengthen resilience against both known and emerging threats.
