VeeamON Tour Dubai to Focus on Data Trust and Cyber Resilience in the Agentic AI Era

VeeamON

The event will bring together more than 400 technology leaders and cybersecurity professionals to examine how organisations can protect AI-driven operations, govern data access and recover trusted information.

Veeam Software will host VeeamON Tour Dubai on 27 October at Address Sky View, bringing together more than 400 customers, IT decision-makers, technology leaders and ecosystem partners to explore the security and resilience challenges emerging as enterprises adopt artificial intelligence.

Under the theme “Data and AI Trust in the Agentic Era,” the event will examine how organisations can protect the data underpinning AI initiatives as autonomous agents gain greater access to business-critical information. Discussions will focus on data security, identity and access controls, governance and recovery capabilities needed to support AI adoption without compromising operational resilience.

The event comes amid rapid AI uptake in the UAE. According to the Microsoft Global AI Diffusion Report for the first quarter of 2026, cited by the Emirates News Agency, 70.1% of the country’s working-age population was using AI, placing the UAE first globally in adoption. As AI becomes embedded in business processes, organisations must ensure that the data used by AI systems remains secure, governed and recoverable.

“AI is changing how organisations create value from their data, but it is also fundamentally changing the risk landscape.” — Mena Migally, Regional Vice President, EMEA East, Veeam

“ As AI agents become more autonomous and interact with business-critical information at unprecedented speed and scale, organisations must rethink how they establish trust across data, identities and access,” said Mena Migally, Regional Vice President, EMEA East at Veeam.

The programme will also address Veeam’s expanding portfolio for data and AI trust. On 15 October, the company announced the general availability of Veeam Intelligent ResOps for Microsoft 365, an add-on for Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 designed to help organisations understand AI agents’ interactions with data, identify potential exposure and recover affected information more precisely.

The offering builds on Veeam’s DataAI Command Platform vision, introduced in May following its acquisition of Securiti AI. The broader strategy brings together data resilience, security, identity, access and AI governance. Veeam has also announced a global Sovereign Service Providers Program to connect customers with local providers offering data protection capabilities aligned with regional operating models and jurisdictional requirements.

VeeamON Tour Dubai will feature executive presentations, technical sessions and customer and partner panels. Highlights include discussions on AI and data trust, Microsoft 365 resilience, practical implementation strategies and the role of technology partners in scaling trusted data protection.

Microsoft, AWS, HPE, Everpure and ExaGrid are among the global alliance sponsors, alongside regional channel and technology partners.

The event reflects a broader shift in enterprise cyber resilience: organisations increasingly need to understand how data is accessed and used, govern AI-driven activity and restore clean, trusted information following ransomware, insider threats or other disruptions.
