Tenable has launched the CyberAgents Exchange, an open-source AI exchange designed to help cybersecurity practitioners discover, share and build trusted AI components for collective cyber defense.
The CyberAgents Exchange, powered by Tenable, is positioned as a vendor-agnostic, cybersecurity-native registry for AI agents, skills, MCP servers and multi-agent playbooks. Tenable said the platform aims to reduce duplicated development efforts and avoid vendor lock-in by giving security teams a shared community hub for agentic tooling.
As security teams increasingly adopt AI to scale operations and manage risk, many are still building agents in isolation. Tenable said the Exchange addresses this gap by offering a free, open-source environment with code-level visibility into who built each component, when it was created and its peer-supported status.

With the CyberAgents Exchange, we’re creating a collaborative ‘town square’ where cybersecurity practitioners can build, test, improve and share the best in agentic defense,” said Vlad Korsunsky, Chief Technology Officer, Tenable.
The launch is backed by founding members SentinelOne and Recorded Future, which will contribute secure AI agents, integration frameworks and playbooks. More than 50 open-source AI components are already available, including Navi, SentinelOne Purple AI, Recorded Future MITRE APT Attack Path Analysis, SOC-Hunter and The Hounds Pack.Tenable said the initiative is intended to help defenders collaborate faster and respond more effectively to AI-enabled threats. The CyberAgents Exchange is available as a free community with no fees for listing or using agents. Security practitioners can access and contribute to the platform through exchange.tenable.com.
