Veeam and HPE Expand Private Cloud Innovation to Accelerate AI Adoption and Modern Workloads

John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer, V

Veeam Software and HPE have announced an expanded collaboration aimed at helping enterprises modernize and scale private cloud environments while supporting AI-ready workloads. The announcement, made at HPE Discover 2026, introduces new validated designs, governance capabilities, and partner-ready solutions designed to simplify AI deployment and strengthen data resilience.

The enhanced partnership focuses on enabling organizations to build secure private cloud infrastructures that combine cloud agility with greater control, governance, and data sovereignty. As businesses increasingly move AI initiatives from pilot projects to production environments, both companies are addressing the growing need for trusted data management and operational resilience.

A key highlight of the collaboration is the introduction of new validated designs for HPE Private Cloud AI, a turnkey AI platform co-engineered with NVIDIA. The designs integrate Veeam Data Platform and Veeam Kasten to support operational continuity for virtualized and Kubernetes-based workloads powering AI applications. The solution also provides safer data ingestion capabilities, helping organizations manage AI data pipelines with stronger governance and security controls.

“AI can only deliver business value when organizations trust the data that powers it. That trust begins with resilience, governance, and recoverability across the entire data lifecycle.” – John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer, Veeam

“Private cloud is evolving rapidly as organizations seek cloud flexibility while maintaining governance and control,” said John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer at Veeam. “Together with HPE, we are helping customers protect and govern their data, reduce AI-related risks, and accelerate business outcomes without compromising agility.”

The companies are also enabling channel partners with standardized sizing tools, templates, and migration guidance to simplify deployment of resilient private cloud environments based on HPE Private Cloud solutions and Veeam technologies. These resources are expected to reduce deployment complexity and improve time-to-value for customers.

Beyond infrastructure, Veeam and HPE are expanding their collaboration around AI trust and governance. HPE Services will participate as a pilot partner for Veeam’s new Data and AI Trust Maturity Model, a framework designed to help organizations assess and improve their readiness across data security, governance, resilience, and compliance.

The expanded alliance reflects growing enterprise demand for secure, recoverable, and trusted data foundations capable of supporting AI innovation at scale while meeting increasingly stringent governance and regulatory requirements.
