Infoblox Appoints Henrik Smith as Chief Information Security Officer

Infoblox has announced the appointment of Henrik Smith as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening cyber resilience and security leadership amid a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

In his new role, Smith will lead Infoblox’s global security strategy, focusing on cyber resilience, risk management, and secure business growth. His appointment comes at a time when organizations worldwide are confronting increasingly sophisticated cyber threats fueled by AI-driven attacks, expanding digital ecosystems, and the growing adoption of autonomous technologies.

Smith brings nearly three decades of cybersecurity leadership experience across cloud security, enterprise security, and risk management. Prior to joining Infoblox, he served as Head of Security for Devices and Services at Amazon, where he was responsible for securing the company’s consumer device ecosystem.

Before Amazon, Smith held the position of Vice President of Security at Salesforce, leading security strategy, risk remediation initiatives, and enterprise-wide security integration efforts. He also spent several years with Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he was among the founding members of the Office of the CISO and Security Assurance organizations, helping shape security programs at one of the world’s largest cloud providers.
