Core42, a G42 company specializing in sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, has announced that Open Innovation AI will integrate its sovereign AI applications into the Core42 Compass API platform. The move expands enterprise access to secure, scalable, and sovereign-ready AI solutions.
With this integration, Open Innovation AI Apps will be available via Compass, enabling enterprises to deploy advanced AI capabilities within governed environments. The collaboration is designed to help organizations accelerate AI adoption while maintaining full control over data, infrastructure, and compliance requirements.
“Sovereign AI is becoming a strategic requirement, not a technology choice… Together, we bring an end-to-end AI stack that enables secure, scalable deployment across multi-silicon environments,” said Dr. Abed Benaichouche, Co-founder and CEO, Open Innovation AI.
The Core42 Compass API platform provides developers and enterprises with unified access to leading generative AI models both open and closed-source through a secure, scalable interface. Built with sovereign deployment principles, the platform ensures data residency, jurisdictional control, and regulatory alignment. Running on Core42’s AI Cloud, Compass supports high-performance, on-demand scaling of AI workloads across diverse compute environments.
As part of the partnership, Open Innovation AI Apps will be deployed natively within Core42’s tenant environment and delivered as a fully integrated SaaS offering through Compass. Enterprises with on-premises or hybrid needs can also leverage Open Innovation AI’s broader stack, including Open Innovation Cluster Manager (OICM) for GPU orchestration and Open Innovation Kubernetes (OIK8) for containerized AI workloads.
“Compass is designed to provide enterprises with a secure and scalable way to access models, tools, and AI applications… Our focus is to give organizations the infrastructure, control, and flexibility they need to move AI from experimentation into real-world deployment,” added Sherif Tawfik, Chief Business Officer at Core42.
The integration supports a wide range of enterprise use cases from organizations already operating within Core42’s infrastructure to those beginning their AI transformation journey. Businesses can now access agentic AI applications in a production-ready environment, while maintaining flexibility across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment models.
This partnership further strengthens Core42’s growing ecosystem of AI solutions on Compass and AI Cloud. It underscores a shared commitment to enabling enterprises and governments to deploy AI at scale with enhanced performance, data sovereignty, and operational consistency key requirements for real-world, production-grade AI adoption.
