Gregg Petersen, Regional Director,Middle East, Cohesity

Cohesity has expanded its long-standing strategic partnership with HPE to help enterprises strengthen cyber resilience, modernize data protection and simplify hybrid cloud operations across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.

The enhanced collaboration introduces deeper technology integrations, expanded joint go-to-market initiatives, and new resale agreements designed to deliver faster recovery, stronger protection, and improved operational efficiency for customers navigating increasingly distributed IT environments.

As part of the alliance, Cohesity will begin reselling HPE, enabling customers to leverage continuous data protection (CDP) and near-instant recovery capabilities for virtualized and cloud workloads. The integration combines Zerto’s low recovery point and recovery time objectives with Cohesity’s AI-powered data security and cyber recovery platform to help organizations recover rapidly from ransomware attacks and operational disruptions.

“Resilience today is no longer just about backup it’s about ensuring organizations can recover quickly, securely, and confidently across increasingly complex hybrid environments,” said Johnny Karam, Managing Director and Vice President, International Emerging Regions at Cohesity.

At the same time, HPE will continue reselling Cohesity DataProtect and will also begin offering Cohesity integrated with modern HPE infrastructure platforms, including HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 and HPE StoreOnce systems.

Johnny Karam, Managing Director and Vice President, International Emerging Regions at Cohesity, said the partnership reflects growing demand across the Middle East for resilient and simplified hybrid cloud operations.

“Organizations are increasingly focused on ensuring business continuity while reducing operational complexity. By combining AI-powered data security with trusted hybrid cloud infrastructure, we are helping enterprises strengthen resilience and protect critical business data,” Karam said.

Fidelma Russo, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Hybrid Cloud and CTO at HPE, added that the collaboration will help customers modernize data protection while improving efficiency across hybrid and multicloud environments.

The companies also highlighted their role in a major U.S. federal hybrid cloud modernization initiative led by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), where HPE GreenLake and Cohesity technologies are being used to deliver secure and cyber-resilient infrastructure.

The expanded offerings are now available globally through authorized HPE and Cohesity partners.
