Riverbed Aternity Crosses $100M Revenue Mark as Bookings Surge 85%

Riverbed

Riverbed has announced that its Aternity Digital Employee Experience (DEX) business has surpassed $100 million in annual revenue as of Q1 2026, with bookings jumping 85% year-on-year highlighting strong enterprise demand for unified digital experience management.

Aternity’s growth is also reflected in its expanding footprint, with deployed product modules reaching 8.9 million, up 48% year-on-year. The surge is being driven by both new customer acquisitions and deeper adoption within existing accounts, as organizations increasingly consolidate fragmented DEX and observability tools into a single platform.

Riverbed attributes this momentum to Aternity’s ability to deliver full-fidelity visibility across devices, applications, and networks an area where traditional solutions often fall short. By providing a unified, cross-domain view of the digital environment, the platform enables IT teams to identify root causes faster and proactively prevent disruptions before they impact employees.

“Digital employee experience is now mission-critical, and enterprises can no longer rely on fragmented tools when productivity is at stake.”

— Dave Donatelli, CEO, Riverbed

A key differentiator lies in Aternity’s AI-driven insights, which leverage rich, contextual data across the IT ecosystem to deliver more precise recommendations and automated actions. This allows enterprises to move beyond reactive IT support models toward proactive and predictive operations at scale.

The company is also extending its capabilities to mobile and frontline environments through Aternity Mobile, ensuring consistent monitoring and performance optimization across all employee touchpoints. This end-to-end visibility is becoming critical as enterprises manage increasingly complex hybrid work environments.

With Aternity 360 emerging as its most widely adopted offering, Riverbed is seeing customers standardize on a single platform to simplify operations, reduce tool sprawl, and enhance employee productivity.

As digital workplaces evolve, Riverbed is positioning Aternity at the center of the DEX market enabling enterprises to transition from reactive issue management to proactive experience optimization, powered by AI and unified observability.
