Cybersecurity professionals can now earn ISC2 certification credits through OPSWAT’s critical infrastructure training programs

OPSWAT Academy has been appointed as an official Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Submitter Partner by ISC2™, the world’s largest association of certified cybersecurity professionals. This strategic collaboration will enable cybersecurity practitioners worldwide to earn and submit CPE credits directly toward maintaining prestigious ISC2 certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, and other globally recognized credentials—simply by completing OPSWAT Academy’s specialized critical infrastructure protection (CIP) training programs.

“Partnering with ISC2, the world’s leading member association for cybersecurity professionals, further validates the quality and impact of our training programs,” said Irfan Shakeel, VP of Training and Certification Services at OPSWAT. “It gives those professionals one more reason to continue their learning journey with us and stay ahead of emerging threats.”

Under the partnership, OPSWAT Academy will directly submit CPE credits on behalf of participants who complete eligible learning programs including self-paced online courses, technical bootcamps, and live webinars—streamlining the credit acquisition and submission process. Depending on the course, professionals can earn up to 20 CPE credits, helping them maintain compliance with ISC2’s continuing education requirements while enhancing their critical infrastructure defense capabilities.

“This collaboration provides ISC2-certified members with the opportunity to earn valuable CPE credits while accessing exclusive cybersecurity education and resources only available through OPSWAT Academy,” said Glen Cox, Director of Strategic Partnerships at ISC2. “Together, ISC2 and OPSWAT Academy broaden the range of high-quality, up-to-date training available to professionals, helping them maintain their certifications with confidence.”

As cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure continue to grow in sophistication, OPSWAT Academy remains committed to closing the global cybersecurity skills gap. The partnership further reinforces its mission to empower professionals with hands-on, practical CIP expertise needed to protect some of the world’s most vital systems and industries.
