DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global IT services leader, has announced strategic collaborations with startups Acumino, CAMB.AI, and GreenMatterAI to develop next-generation AI solutions for the automotive and manufacturing industries. The initiatives are part of DXC’s long-standing partnership with STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug and Play, a leading mobility innovation platform.

Breaking Language Barriers in Mobility

Dubai-based CAMB.AI is co-developing an AI-powered real-time speech translation solution with DXC to improve traffic interpretation in vehicles worldwide. From live multilingual conversation translation to street sign recognition, the technology aims to deliver safer, more confident driving experiences for international users within connected digital cockpits.

Smarter Robotics for Complex Manufacturing

Seattle-based Acumino is working with DXC to advance general robotic intelligence for flexible factory automation. By leveraging AI-powered human-in-the-loop training systems, robots can quickly learn new tasks with human-like dexterity—making them viable for complex, small-batch production environments. Early results, showcased at Expo 2025 with motion technology leader Schaeffler, have already demonstrated success in packaging automation use cases. This collaboration also earned the 2025 Global Plug and Play Innovation Award.

Synthetic Data for Efficient Production

Berlin-based GreenMatterAI is partnering with DXC to deploy AI-driven weld inspection powered by synthetic data. The solution generates precise training datasets for computer vision models, enhancing defect detection and reducing rework costs by up to 25%. The innovation promises millions in potential annual savings for manufacturers while accelerating quality automation.

Scaling Innovation Through Ecosystem Partnerships

DXC’s collaboration with startups is a cornerstone of its open innovation strategy. To date, the company has selected over 100 emerging technology ventures and launched more than 25 pilots and customer projects through STARTUP AUTOBAHN.
