IFS has announced the appointment of Kriti Sharma as CEO of Nexus Black, its AI innovation accelerator. This strategic move underscores IFS’s commitment to advancing agentic AI tailored for asset- and service-intensive industries.
Sharma, a renowned AI expert recognized by Forbes and the United Nations, brings a wealth of experience from her leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, Sage Group, and GfK. Her appointment signals a bold step toward delivering intelligent, contextual AI that addresses real-world industrial challenges.
As CEO of Nexus Black, Sharma will lead the development of domain-specific agentic AI for sectors including manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and construction. Her mission is to create scalable, practical AI applications that drive operational excellence and predictive intelligence.

Joining Sharma is Nick Vandivere, appointed Chief Innovation Officer of Nexus Black. Vandivere, also from Thomson Reuters, will focus on expanding IFS’s Industrial AI pipeline and exploring frontier use cases across the IFS Cloud platform.
