Partnership brings AI-powered malware detection to Metascan Multiscanning, improving speed, accuracy, and resilience
In a strategic OEM partnership, OPSWAT, a global leader in critical infrastructure cybersecurity, has integrated SentinelOne’s AI-driven detection engine into its Metascan™ Multiscanning platform—delivering enhanced malware detection across both Windows and Linux environments.
The collaboration significantly strengthens OPSWAT’s multilayered threat defense, which already combines over 30 leading antivirus engines using signature, heuristic, and machine learning techniques. SentinelOne’s AI/ML capabilities add real-time behavioral analysis and cloud-independent operation, helping organizations detect and neutralize zero-day threats, ransomware, and polymorphic malware faster and with greater precision.
“Integrating SentinelOne’s AI detections strengthens Metascan’s multilayered defense, giving our customers faster, smarter protection against today’s most sophisticated threats,” said Tom Mullen, SVP, Business Development, OPSWAT.
Used across IT, OT, and ICS infrastructures, OPSWAT’s multiscanning tools now offer an extra layer of defense powered by SentinelOne’s autonomous threat detection. The integration is available immediately in products such as MetaDefender Core, MetaDefender ICAP Server, and MetaDefender Kiosk, across both on-prem and cloud deployments.
“By integrating our AI/ML detections with Metascan Multiscanning, we’re delivering joint value that helps organizations elevate their threat detection strategies and better protect critical infrastructure,” added Melissa K. Smith, VP, Strategic Technology Partnerships, SentinelOne.
As cyberattacks on critical infrastructure intensify globally, this partnership brings AI into the security frontline—offering smarter, faster, and more scalable protection to enterprises and government entities alike.
