Vertiv India Launches YUVA Program to Develop Next Generation of Channel Leaders

Vertiv has launched Young Upcoming Visionary Achievers (YUVA), a new leadership development initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of channel leaders and strengthening India’s rapidly expanding critical digital infrastructure ecosystem.

The program is designed exclusively for members of the Vertiv Partner Program and focuses on equipping emerging leaders with the skills, business acumen, and strategic insights required to navigate the evolving opportunities in data centers, AI infrastructure, enterprise technology, and mission-critical environments.

The inaugural YUVA cohort was launched through a two-day immersive program held at Vertiv India’s headquarters in Thane and the company’s manufacturing facility in Ambernath. The first batch brought together 25 high-potential professionals from Vertiv’s channel partner network, providing them with direct exposure to leadership practices, strategic business planning, operational excellence, and industry trends.

According to Vertiv, the initiative comes at a time when India’s digital infrastructure sector is witnessing unprecedented growth, fueled by rising investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data centers, and digital transformation initiatives. As customer requirements become more sophisticated, channel partners are increasingly expected to move beyond traditional solution delivery and act as strategic advisors and business transformation enablers.

“Through YUVA, we are investing in the people who will lead the next phase of India’s digital infrastructure transformation. By equipping future channel leaders with business insights, leadership capabilities, and closer engagement with Vertiv’s leadership and operations, we are building a stronger partner ecosystem for long-term growth,” said Subhasis Majumdar, Managing Director, Vertiv India.

“India’s digital infrastructure ecosystem is experiencing rapid expansion, driven by AI, data centers and increasing demand for resilient critical infrastructure. As the market evolves, the role of our channel partners is also evolving from solution delivery to providing deeper strategic and consultative support for customers,” said Subhasis Majumdar, Managing Director, Vertiv India.

The YUVA curriculum combines leadership development sessions, financial and business strategy workshops, customer engagement frameworks, and market intelligence discussions. Participants also gained practical exposure to manufacturing operations through facility tours and production-line walkthroughs at Vertiv’s Ambernath plant.

A key component of the initiative is hands-on execution. Each participant has been assigned a business growth project, developed jointly with Vertiv mentors, which will be implemented over a three-month period. The company says these projects are intended to help participants apply their learning to real-world business challenges and generate measurable outcomes in their respective markets.

“Our channel partners have played a significant role in Vertiv’s growth in India, and YUVA reflects our commitment to investing in their future success. The program goes beyond product knowledge to help emerging leaders develop strategic thinking, strengthen customer relationships, and build sustainable businesses,” said Raghavendra Kale, Channel Leader, Vertiv India.

The initiative also places strong emphasis on mentorship and direct engagement with senior leadership, enabling participants to gain deeper insights into industry dynamics, organizational leadership, and growth opportunities within the critical infrastructure sector.

Building on the success of the first cohort, Vertiv plans to launch two additional YUVA cohorts in September and December 2026. The company ultimately aims to establish YUVA as a long-term leadership development platform that can scale across its partner ecosystem.

With demand for data center capacity, AI infrastructure, power management, and cooling technologies continuing to grow, Vertiv believes developing future-ready channel leaders will be critical to supporting customers and accelerating the evolution of India’s digital infrastructure landscape.
