Veeam Software has published its 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, outlining significant progress across sustainability initiatives, workforce development, and trust-focused innovation as the company continues scaling its Data and AI Trust strategy.

The report highlights Veeam’s commitment to responsible growth while expanding its global footprint. The company grew from over 5,000 employees across 34 countries in 2024 to more than 6,600 employees in 60+ countries in 2025. During the same period, its customer base increased from 400,000 to over 550,000, reflecting strong market traction alongside ESG advancements.

From an environmental perspective, Veeam continues to strengthen its sustainability programs through measurable actions and transparency. In 2025, the company recycled 1,684 laptops, preventing an estimated 5,052 pounds of e-waste from entering landfills. It also expanded its greenhouse gas emissions tracking to include Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, while reducing its physical office footprint and achieving LEED certification across eight locations.

“Innovation without integrity is unsustainable… how we earn trust, how we invest in our people, community and environment, and how we measure and manage our impact to create sustainable global impact matters.”: Anand Eswaran, CEO of Veeam.

On the social front, Veeam reported strong employee engagement levels, with 87% of employees rating it as a great place to work. The company also contributed more than 3,100 volunteer hours to community initiatives globally. Enhancements to its Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including expanded mental health and wellbeing support, further reinforce its focus on workforce resilience and inclusivity.

Trust remains a central pillar of Veeam’s ESG strategy. The company achieved a 100% completion rate in mandatory ethics, privacy, and cybersecurity training, while maintaining global certifications including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27017, SOC 2, and HIPAA. It also strengthened its responsible AI governance framework by implementing a formal Responsible AI Policy, reviewing over 100 AI use cases prior to deployment, and ensuring strong data protection controls within AI integrations.

A major milestone highlighted in the report is Veeam’s acquisition of Securiti AI in 2025, which enhances its capabilities in data security, privacy management, and AI governance. The integration brings additional expertise and strengthens Veeam’s ability to support enterprises in managing data risk and compliance in the AI era.

The report underscores Veeam’s approach to aligning innovation with accountability, positioning ESG not just as a compliance requirement but as a strategic driver of long-term business value and stakeholder trust.
