Partnership to deliver intelligent, net-zero cities of the future

SEE Holding has entered a strategic partnership with Micropolis to integrate advanced AI and robotics infrastructure into The Sustainable City 2.0 (TSC 2.0), its next-generation model for climate-resilient urban development. The collaboration aims to build smart, adaptive cities that are not only net-zero but also human-centric in design.

Unveiled earlier this month, TSC 2.0 advances SEE Holding’s established sustainability blueprint by embedding artificial intelligence into city operations. These AI capabilities will enable real-time resource optimization across critical sectors including energy, water, food, mobility, and waste. The initiative also emphasizes health, education, and innovation to enhance resident well-being.

“This collaboration will create smarter, more connected, and people-centric cities.” — Eng. Faris Saeed, CEO, SEE Holding

Micropolis, a UAE-based robotics and AI company, will contribute its edge computing systems, AI surveillance, smart mobility tools, and autonomous robotics to support the intelligent infrastructure of TSC 2.0. The collaboration leverages a decade-long relationship between the two companies, during which SEE Holding provided Micropolis with real-world testing environments at the original Sustainable City in Dubai.

“With The Sustainable City 2.0, we are creating a future-ready urban model that reflects the needs of generations to come,” said Eng. Faris Saeed. Fareed Aljawhari, CEO of Micropolis, added, “We’re proud to scale our AI and robotics innovations globally through this partnership.”

SEE Holding’s original model in Dubai has already achieved a 78% emissions reduction and 89% landfill diversion, earning acclaim as the GCC’s happiest community. TSC 2.0 will now take that vision further, using AI to scale sustainable urban living worldwide.
