New hypervisor-free solution brings enterprise-grade data services and resiliency to cloud-native and bare-metal deployments

Nutanix has introduced Cloud Native AOS, a groundbreaking addition to its hybrid multicloud portfolio, designed to bring advanced storage and data services directly to Kubernetes environments—without requiring a hypervisor. This new architecture supports deployment across public clouds, on-premises bare-metal servers, and edge locations.

“Cloud Native AOS empowers organizations to move faster, store smarter, and scale effortlessly—unlocking new levels of performance without compromise.”

— Manfred Pichlbauer, IT Consultant at Bacher Systems

By extending the proven capabilities of its AOS platform, Nutanix enables enterprises to protect, manage, and migrate containerized applications and their data across distributed environments. Cloud Native AOS simplifies day-two operations with built-in disaster recovery, seamless data mobility, and native Kubernetes API integration for self-service data management.

Currently in early access for Amazon EKS users, Cloud Native AOS is slated for general availability this summer, with support for on-premises bare-metal environments expected by year-end.
