NTT DATA has announced NTT DATA AI for Insurance, an AI-native agentic solution designed to convert complex insurance workflows into governed, repeatable AI-delivered services.
Powered by the NTT DATA AIVista platform, the Service-as-Software solution combines configurable AI agents, insurance-specific data models, workflow orchestration and enterprise-grade governance. It is built for highly regulated insurance environments and supports auditability, regulatory guardrails and human oversight across underwriting, claims, customer service and other core operations.
NTT DATA said the solution helps carriers improve productivity, decision quality and risk management while modernizing legacy processes. Its prebuilt insurance foundation can be configured and customized to match each carrier’s products, operating model, technology environment and regulatory requirements, while open integration helps avoid core system lock-in.

The platform also supports model routing to reduce dependence on a single foundation model.NTT DATA said the offering is aimed at insurers under pressure to increase underwriting capacity, accelerate claims processing, improve risk selection and meet rising governance expectations.
