Collaboration focuses on building secure, scalable AI infrastructure and AI factories aligned with the Kingdom’s data sovereignty and digital transformation goals
Magna AI and VAST Data have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at supporting the development of sovereign AI infrastructure and next-generation AI factories in Saudi Arabia, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing investment in artificial intelligence as a pillar of economic and digital transformation.
The partnership, unveiled at LEAP 2026, brings together Magna AI’s expertise in AI strategy, engineering, security, integration, and operational transformation with VAST Data’s AI Operating System, a platform designed to unify storage, data management, and distributed computing for large-scale AI environments.
As governments and enterprises move AI projects from experimentation into production, the challenge is increasingly shifting beyond access to computing power. Organizations now require integrated infrastructure capable of managing massive amounts of data, supporting model training and inference workloads, enforcing governance policies, and maintaining compliance with national security and data residency requirements.
