New platform unifies visibility, governance, and protection for autonomous agents, sanctioned AI applications, and shadow AI environments
Forcepoint has unveiled its new AI Data Security platform, designed to help organizations secure sensitive information across the rapidly expanding ecosystem of AI applications, autonomous agents, and generative AI tools. The company claims the platform is the first to combine AI oversight with data protection that follows sensitive information across every AI interaction, regardless of where it occurs.
The launch comes as enterprises increasingly embed AI into daily operations, creating new challenges around the protection of sensitive corporate and customer data. According to Forcepoint, employees and AI agents are now routinely interacting with models, copilots, and applications that process critical business information, making data security and AI governance inseparable concerns.

The new platform aims to address this challenge by providing a unified framework for discovering, classifying, governing, and protecting sensitive data across cloud, web, email, endpoint, network, and AI environments. Rather than simply identifying risks, Forcepoint’s approach enforces security policies directly on the data itself, ensuring protections remain in place as information moves through AI systems.
Key capabilities include real-time monitoring of AI prompts and responses, data loss prevention for AI workflows, AI agent governance, confidential file protection, and controls designed to manage shadow AI usage. The platform also introduces an AI Agent Gateway, enabling organizations to enforce least-privilege access for autonomous agents interacting with enterprise applications such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Jira.
Forcepoint is also expanding visibility into AI-related risks through new AI Detection and Response (AIDR) capabilities, providing centralized oversight of approved and unsanctioned AI tools from a single management console.
