Digital Dubai has unveiled new charity services that will be available through the DubaiNow application, as part of its efforts to support charity work during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The new services make the process easier, smoother, and faster for users to support charity and humanitarian services on a comprehensive application that covers every aspect of everyday life, offering users more than 130 government and private sector services.

The new bundle consists of four services: Iftar Sa’im, One Billion Meals campaign, Zakat payment, and Zakat al-Fitr, the latter of which typically witnesses great turnout during the last days of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Furthermore, the application provides the Imsakiya service throughout the Holy Month, and features prayer times throughout the year, in addition to a variety of other services.

“This update to the DubaiNow application reflects our commitment to providing easy and quick services to all categories of customers, in line with the principle of a comprehensive and integrated government,” said His Excellency Wesam Lootah, CEO, Smart Dubai Government,Digital Dubai. “We operate with a clear vision that places people at the center of digital transformation, and to that end, service platforms must be designed to meet the expectations of all segments of the community, as per the emirate’s strategy to digitize every aspect of life, ensure the happiness and wellbeing of the Dubai community, and fulfil the directives of our wise leadership.”

“We are proud of the fact that charity work has always been at the core of Emirati heritage and culture, and with that in mind, we sought to make digital solutions available for users to do more charity,” H.E. added. “Digital Dubai sought to provide these services on the DubaiNow application given the platform’s simplicity and its role as a one-stop shop for reliable and safe Dubai services for millions of users across the UAE.”
