CSG Awards 2024, MEA Happened with Fanfare on 24 April

The event witnessed the top 50 CISOs along with the ecosystem leaders converging under one roof to celebrate their success.

On 24 April 2024, at Shangri-La, Dubai, the much-awaited CSG Awards 2024 happened with fanfare. The event was attended by more than 100 cybersecurity leaders/ CISOs, cybersecurity influencers, and ecosystem partners including Vendors, VADs, Partners.

The event started with the welcome note by Sanjay Mohapatra, Editor, Enterprise IT World MEA, where he emphasized on the leading role of the CISOs who try their best to safeguard their organizations from attacks. He said, “Like the City jingle “Citi Never sleeps, CISOs never sleep.” He also emphasized on the role of AI, how the technology is influencing the defence of the organizations.”


It was followed by the introduction by Welcome by co-organiser, Sushobhan Mukherjee, Co-Founder and CEO, Prime Infoserv LLP, who spoke about the trend in Cybersecurity.


The Jury members – Mr. Arun Tewary and Mr. Bharat Raigangar welcomed the guest at the event and spoke about the evaluation process of the CSG Awards 2024. How difficult was it?


 Introducing the event and about Finesse, CEO of the organization Sunil Paul spoke about the trend in the region and how things are becoming tougher day by day from the cybersecurity perspective. Govind Rammurthy, CEO, eScan spoke about how he is deploying SLM (small language model) in his products to address the efficacy of the solution.


Murali Vellat, Division Manager, Bulwark Technologies, welcoming the guests, presented Bulwark core competency and expressed why Bulwark is so very important to the region from cybersecurity supply chain is concerned. He put out all the important vendors that the company is dealing in which are unique in nature.


Chandra Shekhar Pandey, Founder and CEO, Seceon Inc. had welcomed the guest and spoke about the global trend in cybersecurity and challenges for the CISOs. He also mentioned about what role Seceon is playing the creating a vanguard of cybersecurity.


The event also saw AV play of the Deep Tech  company Twyn. Twyn demonstrated how Digital Twin is influencing the entire manufacturing process and how the company is helping in achieving the goal of digital transformation and creating digital disruption for the early adopter of the technology.

Finally, the much-awaited CSG Awards 2024 had taken place where more than 80 people has received award in categories including top 50 CISO awards, Emerging CISO Award, Cybersecurity Evangelists, Vendors, VADs, Partners and Marketer category.

Giving Vote of thanks, Sanjib Mohapatra, Publisher, Enterprise IT World MEA had reiterated commitment to the cybersecurity fraternity and expressed his desire to hold multiple events in various countries in the region, which include in Saudi, Qatar, Oman, etc.

The event was supported by Twyn, Prime Infoserv, Bulwark, Finesse, Escan, Vembu, etc. They had also showcased their solutions at the demo zone. Along with the vendors non-profit organizations and industry associations including CIOKlub UAE and Cybersecurity Advisors Network had also supported the initiative of Enterprise IT World MEA.
