Recognition validates Cohesity’s ability to help organizations improve resilience, accelerate recovery, and simplify cyber protection across cloud and hybrid environments
Cohesity has announced that it has achieved the AWS Resilience Competency, a designation that recognizes its ability to help organizations improve the availability, security, and resilience of critical workloads running on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The competency validates Cohesity’s technical expertise and customer success in delivering cyber resilience solutions that help enterprises recover quickly from ransomware attacks, infrastructure failures, and other operational disruptions. The recognition further strengthens the company’s position as a provider of AI-powered data security and recovery solutions for modern cloud and hybrid IT environments.
As businesses increasingly adopt cloud-native applications, distributed architectures, and always-on digital services, resilience has emerged as a critical business requirement. Cohesity addresses these challenges through a unified platform that combines data protection, cybersecurity, and recovery capabilities, enabling organizations to strengthen resilience while reducing operational complexity.
“Cyber resilience is a business-critical priority, with increasing demand for always-on digital services. Organisations need confidence that their data, applications, and critical workloads can be protected and recovered quickly when disruption occurs.”
— Gregg Petersen, Regional Director, Middle East & Africa, Cohesity
According to the company, the AWS Resilience Competency highlights its ability to provide consistent protection, detection, and recovery workflows across AWS environments. This approach helps organizations standardize recovery processes, reduce tool fragmentation, and improve recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for mission-critical workloads.
“Achieving the AWS Resilience Competency is an important milestone for Cohesity, particularly as organizations across the region continue to modernize their cloud and hybrid environments,” said Gregg Petersen, Regional Director, Middle East & Africa at Cohesity. “This recognition reinforces our continued investment in innovation to help customers simplify resilience, reduce operational complexity, and strengthen recovery outcomes at scale.”
The company said its platform enables customers to design resilience directly into their IT architectures rather than treating recovery as a secondary consideration. By integrating data protection and cyber recovery capabilities into a single AI-powered platform, organizations can better prepare for and respond to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
As part of the competency achievement, Cohesity’s validated resilience solutions are now available through AWS Marketplace with support for multi-currency transactions across regions. This enables customers to simplify procurement processes, streamline vendor management, and align resilience investments with existing AWS commitments.
Cohesity believes the expanded availability of its solutions through AWS Marketplace will help enterprises accelerate cloud adoption while maintaining consistent security, data protection, and recovery controls across their environments. The move also supports organizations seeking to operationalize cyber resilience as a core component of their cloud strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
