BARQ Systems arrives at LEAP 2023 with news of the expansion of its managed services offering

For the second successive year, Saudi IT Services Provider BARQ Systems arrives at LEAP 2023 with news of the expansion of its managed services offering.

The latest range of enhancements extends the group’s reach beyond its turnkey consulting and advisory solutions for the government and private sector clients, and adds cybersecurity managed services for clients seeking a better and more secure infrastructure and applications automation.

“With the launch of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital transformation journey, demand from customers across the region, surged,” said BARQ Systems Group President and CEO Mahmoud Soliman. “As we move through 2023 and see more digital data assets coming online, we expect increasing demand for our solutions portfolio and especially for IT-as-a-Service across the automation, business continuity and cybersecurity sectors.”

The news comes as BARQ Systems celebrates 30 years in the MEA region. Last year the group became the automation and cybersecurity solutions provider-of-choice to customers throughout government, education, banking, commercial, and telco sectors. Demand was met by the group’s workforce across its KSA, Egypt, and UAE offices and supported by its multi-vendor technology partnership model and cloud-based services teams.

As part of its shift to a full-fledged managed services model, BARQ Systems has extended its portfolio to include DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Attack Surface Management, Security Validation and Digital Rights Management. Further growth over the coming years is expected to involve the introduction of Edge Computing and Networking, Distributed-Cloud, Multi-Cloud Networking, DDoS Mitigation, and Web App Security.

“The Kingdom’s digital transformation programme puts it on track to become a major global ICT hub over the coming years and one of the world’s most connected populations,” added Mahmoud Soliman. “For BARQ Systems and our strategic partners, it opens exciting new business opportunities that we eagerly anticipate serving with our managed services programme.”

The coming year will also see the launch of a BARQ Academy in the Kingdom, following the success of the centre of excellence concept in Egypt since 2017. The Academy commits the time, knowledge, and experience of BARQ Systems experts to help prepare graduates personally and professionally for a successful career in IT.

Visitors to the BARQ Systems booth located at H4.C70, will get to discover the following:
