The global mobility technology company will use the investment to launch its consumer-facing app in December 2026 and expand its private client business.
Multipolitan, an Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)-incorporated global mobility technology company, has raised US$2 million (AED 7.35 million) in a seed funding round at a US$25 million (AED 91.81 million) pre-money valuation. The round was led by global venture studio, accelerator and incubator EmergentX.
The funding will support the company’s plans to simplify how individuals and families manage international travel, residency and cross-border lifestyles. Its immediate priority is the launch of the Multipolitan App, scheduled for December 2026, alongside the expansion of its established Private Client business, which has generated more than US$4 million (AED 14.69 million) in net revenue in less than two years.
Operating in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Multipolitan combines immigration and mobility expertise with proprietary technology. Its platform is designed to bring visa management, travel intelligence, immigration requirements and cross-border administration into a single digital environment.
The upcoming app will offer three interconnected services: Live, Travel and Stay. These will help users manage passports, visas and family documents; access entry requirements and real-time flight updates; and monitor time spent abroad and relevant residency deadlines.
“Abu Dhabi’s focus on technology, innovation and international connectivity makes it an important base for our global growth ambitions.”
— Nirbhay Handa, Co-founder, Multipolitan
The company’s technology stack includes INREX, an immigration intelligence engine; FlightIQ, a real-time travel intelligence platform; and Visa Connect, an AI-powered travel visa engine.
“As more individuals, entrepreneurs and families build their lives across borders, the need for simpler, more connected mobility solutions continues to grow,” said Nirbhay Handa, Co-founder of Multipolitan. He added that Abu Dhabi’s focus on technology, innovation and international connectivity makes it an important base for the company’s global expansion.
Founded in 2024 by Handa, former Group Head of Business Development at Henley & Partners, and Lee Smith, co-founder of Japanese fintech company Paidy, Multipolitan employs more than 40 professionals across Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bengaluru. The company plans further expansion into Kuala Lumpur and Manila.
