Marcus Josefsson, VP EMEA, Nozomi Networks

Briefly introduce your company.

Nozomi Networks accelerates digital transformation by protecting the world’s critical infrastructure, industrial and government organizations from cyber threats. Our solution delivers exceptional network and asset visibility, threat detection, and insights for OT and IoT environments. Customers rely on us to minimize risk and complexity while maximizing operational resilience.

Why is GISEC important, and how does it contribute to visibility? What makes this year different?

Ransomware and threats to OT/ICS environments continue to remain at an all-time high, as do vulnerability disclosures. Both the public and private sectors are stepping up to strengthen their defences and strong, robust cybersecurity is becoming a top priority as OT and ICS systems embrace modern technologies to stay ahead of the competition.

Due to the unique circumstances surrounding Middle Eastern countries and the evolving threat landscape targeting critical national infrastructure, there are large investment opportunities in cybersecurity defence and incident response. Global cybersecurity providers have benefited from the threat intelligence of the targeted attacks in this region and how to defend against them. This in return helps the rest of the world from such actors.

Exhibitions like GISEC allow us to have these important conversations face-to-face with our existing and prospective customers, partners, and visitors from the region, as well as international attendees. It also gives us a platform to highlight our offerings in person, which provides additional value for our customers and partners in the region. Recent products released include Nozomi Arc, our endpoint security sensor, and our Threat Intelligence Feeds that can be ingested directly into Security Operation Centers (SOCS).

What are you hoping to achieve from GISEC 2023?

As the foremost gathering ground for the global cybersecurity community, we look forward to engaging with customers and partners and discussing how they can effectively enhance the security of OT, IoT and ICS environments. We are also excited to see how this year’s theme– Connecting Minds, Boosting Cyber Resilience – comes to fruition, and connect with the top regional and international cybersecurity leaders and industry players.

What solutions or products will your company be showcasing?

We are extremely excited to be launching the newest member of our product portfolio, Nozomi Arc. Arc is our first endpoint security sensor (as well as the first in the industry!) that now complements our Guardian and Vantage deployments with more visibility into a host’s attack surfaces and anomalies, to give a more detailed view of your complete OT/ICS environment. It improves operational resiliency by significantly extending visibility across endpoint attack surfaces, dramatically reducing security threats and speeding deployments across all assets and sites. We will demonstrate how the newly enhanced Nozomi Networks portfolio is a more complete and highly scalable option to secure companies’ critical infrastructure.
