Archicad Max, Allplan Max and Bluebeam Max bring practical AI capabilities to architecture, engineering and construction, with a shared platform designed to improve productivity and collaboration.
Nemetschek Group is expanding its AI portfolio in the Middle East with the introduction of three premium offerings Archicad Max, Allplan Max and Bluebeam Max targeting architecture, engineering and construction workflows.
Powered by the group’s Nemetschek Intelligence Platform, the solutions are designed to embed AI into established project environments rather than introduce standalone tools. The objective is to reduce repetitive work, make project information easier to access, improve quality and help professionals make better-informed decisions while retaining control over critical processes.
The launch comes as countries across the Middle East accelerate infrastructure development, urban expansion and smart city programmes. As project complexity increases, the ability to connect design data, engineering models and construction documentation is becoming increasingly important for improving delivery efficiency and coordination.
Each Max offering addresses a different stage of the built environment lifecycle. Archicad Max, from Graphisoft, introduces an agentic AI Assistant capable of completing multi-step tasks directly within architectural models. The aim is to help architects interact more efficiently with project data and design workflows.
Allplan Max 2027 extends AI capabilities across Nemetschek’s engineering portfolio, including Allplan, SCIA, FRILO, RISA and SDS2, supporting connected modelling, structural analysis and fabrication processes.
Bluebeam Max focuses on construction productivity. Its capabilities include Smart Review, which helps identify design discrepancies and missing information; Smart Overlay, which detects changes between drawing sets; and Magic Markups, which automates repetitive markup and quantity take-off activities.
“The opportunity for AI is not simply to automate more tasks, but to help professionals work with greater clarity, consistency and confidence.”
— Eng. Muayad Simbawa, Managing Director, Middle East, Nemetschek Group
“With the new Max solutions spanning architecture, engineering and construction, we are bringing practical AI closer to the everyday workflows of the region’s AEC/O community,” said Eng. Muayad Simbawa, Managing Director, Middle East, Nemetschek Group.
The company’s strategy also places emphasis on interoperability. The offerings are designed to connect across software environments, vendors and project partners, using open standards such as Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) to support information exchange throughout the building lifecycle.
Julian Geiger, Chief AI Officer of the Nemetschek Group, said the solutions reflect a unified AI strategy across design, engineering and construction, built on a shared intelligence platform rather than disconnected features.
Bluebeam Max and Allplan Max 2027 are available globally, while Archicad Max is being rolled out regionally with Archicad 30. Availability, features and pricing vary by product and market.
For the Middle East’s AEC/O sector, the significance of the launch lies in bringing AI closer to day-to-day project execution. Its impact will depend on how effectively these capabilities integrate with existing workflows, improve coordination and deliver measurable productivity gains across the building lifecycle.
