NTT DATA Expands Global AI Factories to Accelerate Enterprise AI Deployment

New facilities across the Middle East, Europe and Asia-Pacific help organisations test AI infrastructure, security, governance and economics before moving workloads into production.

NTT DATA is expanding its global AI Factory network to help enterprises move artificial intelligence initiatives beyond pilot projects and into production, combining full-stack AI expertise with technologies from ecosystem partners, including Cisco and NVIDIA.

The AI Factories provide hands-on environments where business and technology leaders can evaluate priority AI use cases against practical requirements such as infrastructure architecture, performance, workload placement, security, governance and operating costs. The objective is to help organisations assess technical feasibility and business value before committing to wider deployment.

The expansion addresses persistent barriers to enterprise AI adoption, including infrastructure bottlenecks, security concerns, governance requirements and uncertainty over performance and costs. NTT DATA’s environments support use cases spanning employee productivity, customer experience, intelligent operations, cybersecurity, networking, software development and industry-specific processes. Engagements can include discovery workshops, technical assessments, proof-of-concept planning and solution design.

“AI at scale is ultimately about turning intelligence into measurable business impact.” — Dilip Kumar, President, Technology Solutions, NTT DATA, Inc.

The facilities draw on NTT DATA’s partner ecosystem, including Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, which provides an infrastructure foundation designed to support secure and scalable enterprise AI deployments.

Riyadh is the company’s strategic AI Factory hub for the Middle East and Africa, connecting regional organisations with its wider global ecosystem. NTT DATA said the Riyadh facility launched in September 2026, followed by sites in Paris and Singapore, joining its inaugural facility in Plano, Texas.

These locations complement the NTT DATA AI Factory in Munich, launched on October 7 at an NTT Global Data Centers facility. The Munich environment allows organisations to test their own AI systems and use cases in a production-grade setting before making investment decisions.

“Scaling AI goes beyond computing,” said Cassie Roach, Global Vice President, AI Infrastructure & Connectivity Partner Sales, Cisco. She highlighted the need for secure, resilient infrastructure spanning performance, security and operations while maintaining control over data and AI economics.

Chris Barnard, Vice President, Networking and Infrastructure Services, IDC, said successful AI adoption requires infrastructure, data, security and operations to work together, supported by an appropriate partner ecosystem.

Through its expanding network, NTT DATA aims to give enterprises a more practical route to evaluating AI deployment choices, managing implementation complexity and aligning infrastructure investment with measurable business outcomes.
