Submer and Aginode Join Forces to Advance AI Data Centre Infrastructure Across MEA and Turkey

The collaboration combines thermal engineering, connectivity and intelligent power distribution to support integrated AI infrastructure planning and delivery.

Submer and Aginode have signed a collaboration agreement to develop and deliver integrated AI and data centre infrastructure across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, bringing thermal management, connectivity and power distribution into project planning from the earliest stages.

Signed at Submer’s office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, the agreement brings together Submer’s expertise in AI infrastructure advisory, data centre design and thermal engineering with Aginode’s connectivity and intelligent power distribution solutions.

The partnership comes as demand for AI computing capacity grows across the region, driven by national digital programmes, sovereign AI initiatives and enterprise investment. As computing density rises, thermal performance, power availability and connectivity increasingly need to be planned together. Addressing these requirements separately can introduce additional costs, design complexity and delays during implementation.

Under the agreement, the companies will engage customers from initial planning and design discussions to help integrate these requirements into a unified infrastructure architecture. The approach is intended to reduce handovers between specialist providers and give customers greater visibility into how facilities are expected to perform once operational.

“AI infrastructure decisions made early in a project shape everything that follows.” — Khalid Aljamed, General Manager, Middle East and Africa, Submer

Beyond project delivery, Submer and Aginode will collaborate on solution development, go-to-market initiatives and market intelligence. The companies are already engaging with regional customers, including in Egypt, and will pursue opportunities spanning AI factories, high-performance computing, hyperscale and colocation facilities, telecommunications networks and sovereign infrastructure programmes.

“Submer’s advisory, design and thermal expertise complements our connectivity and power distribution portfolio very well,” said Yousef Arafat, General Manager, Aginode. He added that the agreement provides a foundation for expanding the companies’ existing regional collaboration.

Khalid Aljamed, General Manager, Middle East and Africa, Submer, said the partnership would help customers address thermal, power and connectivity requirements together from the outset, creating a more dependable route from infrastructure design to delivery.

Founded in Spain, Submer provides AI and high-performance computing infrastructure services spanning advisory, design and build, power, thermal solutions and IT integration. Aginode, headquartered in Paris, France, develops fibre and copper connectivity solutions for data centres and other critical digital environments.
