The company will showcase integrated surveillance, AI analytics and critical infrastructure protection as Qatar’s energy, transport and public safety sectors face evolving security demands.
Axis Communications will demonstrate its integrated security technologies at Milipol Qatar 2026, highlighting the growing convergence of physical security, cybersecurity and operational intelligence across critical infrastructure.
The event, taking place from October 20 to 22 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, comes as organisations increasingly move beyond standalone surveillance products towards connected, open-platform security ecosystems.
For Qatar, the shift is particularly relevant as investment expands across energy facilities, transport infrastructure and public venues. Mohammed Hoteit, Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Gulf, Axis Communications, said security must be embedded into infrastructure planning, with compliance and resilience becoming central to long-term development.
“Security by design and integrated security are now critical for organisational resilience.” — Mohammed Hoteit, Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Gulf, Axis Communications
Regulatory requirements overseen by Qatar’s Ministry of Interior Security Systems Department are also raising expectations for the cybersecurity of physical security systems, particularly in government and critical sectors.
Axis will highlight secure-by-design capabilities, including signed firmware, privacy masking and lifecycle protection, alongside integrated video management, access control, network audio and AI-powered analytics. The company argues that combining these technologies can improve threat detection while generating operational insights beyond conventional surveillance.
Critical infrastructure protection will be another focus, with demonstrations featuring thermal cameras, explosion-protected devices and radar integrated with pan-tilt-zoom cameras. The showcase will also include the AXIS D2123-VE Radar, AXIS Q6300-E Panoramic Camera and AXIS W120 Body Worn Camera.
Axis will participate with regional distributor 360 Security Systems and technology partners PowerStack and AerVision, reflecting the role of local expertise and integration in delivering scalable security systems.
The broader message is that security resilience increasingly depends on interoperable technologies, regulatory alignment and sustained collaboration—not cameras and access controls operating in isolation.
Visitors can meet Axis at stand S009 at DECC, Doha.
