Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software, has appointed Vaibhav Vohra as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026. He will succeed Steve Murphy, who will step down as CEO at the close of Epicor’s fiscal year on September 30 and continue serving on the company’s Board of Directors.
The leadership change follows a planned succession process led by Epicor’s Board of Directors. Vohra was appointed President in October 2024 and has since taken on increasing responsibilities across the company.

Vohra joined Epicor in 2021 as Chief Product Officer and most recently served as President and Chief Product and Technology Officer. He has been instrumental in shaping the company’s product strategy and advancing its cloud, AI and data supply chain vision.

Before joining Epicor, Vohra held product leadership roles at Gecko Robotics and SAP, where he built and scaled technology businesses.
Under Murphy’s leadership, Epicor strengthened its position as a SaaS-focused industry ERP provider, accelerated its cloud-first strategy, expanded through innovation and strategic acquisitions, and surpassed $1 billion in annual recurring revenue.

The company said Murphy and Vohra will work closely during the transition to ensure continuity for Epicor’s customers, employees and partners.
Vohra said his focus will remain on helping Epicor customers grow and succeed as enterprise software undergoes rapid transformation, while Murphy expressed confidence in the company’s strategy and Vohra’s ability to lead its next phase.
