DXC Launches Private Cloud+ to Deliver Secure, AI-Ready Hybrid Cloud for Enterprises and Governments

Chris Drumgoole

DXC Technology has announced the general availability of DXC Private Cloud+, a new hybrid private cloud solution designed to provide enterprises and government organizations with greater control, security, and flexibility while supporting increasingly complex AI and business workloads.

Powered by Dell Technologies infrastructure and operated through DXC OASIS, the company’s intelligent orchestration platform, Private Cloud+ combines the scalability and consumption-based economics of public cloud environments with the governance, compliance, and security of private cloud infrastructure.

The launch comes as organizations across industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and the public sector seek alternatives to traditional cloud models. Growing concerns around data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, security, and AI readiness are driving enterprises toward hybrid and multi-cloud strategies that offer greater operational control.

According to DXC, Private Cloud+ is designed to support both traditional enterprise applications and advanced AI workloads within a unified environment. Hosted in DXC data centers, the platform supports virtual machines, containers, data management, backup and recovery, cyber resilience, and private AI deployments, helping organizations modernize infrastructure while maintaining control over sensitive data.

“Customers across industries want hyperscale economics, flexibility, and AI readiness in a true hybrid environment. Until now, they’ve had to compromise. Private Cloud+, powered by Dell and operated by DXC OASIS, ends that trade-off and enables them to be ready as AI workloads increase.” — Chris Drumgoole, President, Global Infrastructure Services, DXC Technology

The solution is available in three deployment models:

  • Core: A multi-tenant private cloud with consumption-based pricing.
  • Dedicated: A single-tenant environment for organizations requiring complete workload isolation and enhanced data sovereignty.
  • Government: A hardened edition with advanced security controls operated by cleared personnel for government agencies and highly regulated industries.

DXC said the platform helps organizations reduce technical debt, simplify cloud operations, strengthen cybersecurity, and accelerate the deployment of AI-driven initiatives without compromising compliance requirements.

Benjamin Greene, Director of Global Infrastructure Services, Private Cloud at DXC, said enterprises are increasingly looking for infrastructure that can simultaneously support modernization, AI adoption, and sensitive workloads without the need for complex add-on solutions.

The launch further strengthens DXC’s long-standing collaboration with Dell Technologies, a partnership spanning more than 25 years and supporting over 2,000 customers globally. As part of DXC’s Fast Track portfolio, Private Cloud+ reflects the company’s focus on AI-powered innovation, automation, and next-generation enterprise infrastructure.
